About Me
My name is Anouk Regensburg, a graduated student (2019) in Immersive Media and Visual Effects at the Netherlands Film Academy.
Currently I consider myself as a Generalist, mostly doing work as modeling, sculpting, texturing, matte-painting, photomanipulating and 2D animating. I believe I have always had a strong eye for fine details and achieving realism and see myself as a perfectionist if it comes to credibility.
Ever since I could hold a pencil, I have been busy drawing and doing other creative activities. As a child I was more interested in the different kinds of crayons and chalks rather than playing with dolls and secretly experimenting with my mother's makeup. I started drawing popular cartoons and game characters around the age of six and developed my taste in movies, which would help me along the way.
Over the years, digital programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects (don't forget Paint and Windows Movie Maker) slowly took over the traditional media. Although pencil and paper are still the most important tools for me to be creative, Photoshop has been my favorite tool since I was twelve.
In 2015, I graduated as a graphic designer and immediately started a new education at the Netherlands Film Academy in Amsterdam, this time as an Immersive Media Visual Effects artist. My biggest dream is to contribute to international and movies and eventually create my own.
The little spare time I has left I fill with writing, photography, mashing up songs and playing the piano. So many creative hobbies, so little time.
